Reduced Goals
Goals are objectives that you plan
to achieve throughout your life. The only way to achieve your goals is to,
first, break them down. There are questions that can help you reduce your
goals. How can you make micro commitments to do better, what are your biggest
goals, what smaller goals can help you achieve your biggest goals, and what is
your first step?
First, I can make daily commitments
to do better by knowing my needs versus my wants. My needs are to get up and
start the day with positive affirmations or mantras. I would have to stay
committed to achieving my goals. Throughout your daily life, you will have to
focus on doing the right thing. Also, you would have to remind yourself to stay
positive.
Second, my biggest goal is to
achieve a bachelor’s degree in business. I do want to work for my master’s, but
I would rather take my time up that ladder. My biggest goal will help me
understand and live a better life.
Thirdly, there are smaller goals
that can help me get closer to the biggest goals. For example, learning to pace
myself and letting the knowledge sink in. A college professor believes
notetaking can help you get closer to your goals too. If you do not know a
word, it is best to write it down and define it so you can understand the
context. Another smaller goal is time management. I would need to take my time
and do the work. You do not need to rush, just balance yourself between work,
home, and college.
Finally, before it is all set-in
stone, the first step is to consider furthering my education for a lifelong
career. When you go to college, you will have to make huge commitments to
finish. Therefore, after you finish, you will be able to get a job in your
field of study.
